The descent from Silver King Lake down to Twin Lakes was made fun and easy by glissading.   Glissading = sliding downhill using your ice axe as a brake hoping you maintain enough control not to smash into the rocks below.   lol.  The following pics show my tracks.  Tracks in the first pic can be seen in the center descending to the rock nubbin above the lake.  Second pic is a closer look at the tracks.  Depending on the steepness of the slope, glissading can be pretty fun.  




I took a picture or two from the rocks on top of this snowfield just before I slid down, and dropped my lens cap.  It bounced a few times and landed in a shallow sun cup at the very top of this slope.  Lucked out.
